1️⃣ Placement! There are 3 highlight placements vertical, diagonal & horizontal. Each placement creates a different result that effects how good your hair looks as it grows out. It is essential to get the placement of highlights right for a brunette. Correct highlight placement creates a long lasting foundation as your color grows out allowing your color to look great even as your gloss starts to wear off!

2️⃣ Root Tap! This little trick softens the line of demarcation, erases & or blurs foil lines at the scalp, creates a softer grow out & allows you to go much longer between appointments.

3️⃣ Root Melts! Similar to a Root Tap, its stretched down a bit farther than a root tap, usually just below where the light glistens on your hair aka the “shine line” in the shape of a tear drop, highest in the front to lowest in through the crown. Creating a little bit more depth & a seamless blend, de-intensifying harsh transitions & allows you to go much much longer between appointments.
