What’s AirTouch?
What is AirTouch: The AirTouch technique uses air, versus teasing/backcombing, to create a seamless blend of color. AirTouch is a Russian highlighting technique created by Vladimir Sarbashev. AirTouch is achieved by taking a section of hair with tension on the longest lengths, and using a blow dryer to push the shorter hairs and internal layers down and out of the way. Color or lightener is then applied to either the longest lengths or the internal layer, or both, depending on the desired finished look.
Who does AirTouch Works best for: AirTouch is best for natural blondes, clients with very fine hair or for someone who wants a flawless and seamless blend of color. AirTouch is great for lightening the overall background of your natural color.
